Product Description
The XST-258-8V is a steam-free thermal bonding press developed for curved seams. Intelligent temperature control, a mechanical feed system and the removal of steam from the pressing cycle let the machine bond interlining to shell fabric while keeping moisture out of the material.
Conventional pressing setups combine an iron, a pressing table and a steam boiler. Steam narrows the working window on temperature-sensitive shells, and the moisture it carries is a recurring source of fabric shrinkage, color change and rework on wool, silk and coated outerwear. The XST-258-8V is designed to take that moisture out of the process rather than manage it after the fact.
Pressing runs at 100 mm/s on an adjustable speed setting, across a pressing width of 6 to 20 mm, with a continuous stroke. Interlining is fed from top and bottom at the same time. Working temperature is adjustable between 150 °C and 350 °C according to fabric type, and the feeding drive is built around two 100 W servo motors running at 986 r/min.
- Intelligent temperature control across the fabric range: A high-precision temperature sensor with millisecond-level response and dynamic adjustment holds the pressing head inside the temperature band set for the fabric, instead of letting it drift with workload or cycle time.
- Smart thermal bonding press for curved seam applications: Pressing is multi-directional. Left and right curved seams are supported alongside straight runs, so curved edges and corner sections can be bonded flat and free of marks.
- Automatic cutting and feeding: The feed system supports continuous operation, aligns interlining strips automatically and transfers them with precision.
- Heat-up in 8 seconds: The pressing head reaches working temperature in 8 seconds.
- Simplified operating interface: The control workflow is simplified so that an operator can move into production without a specialist training program.
Two items on this model are specific to the XST-258-8V. The first is a registered patent for the movable feeding device, patent number ZL 2024 2 1833237 3, which is the mechanism behind the automatic strip alignment described above. The second is the drive: two 100 W servo motors run the feeding system synchronously at 98 r/min.
The machine also removes the steam chain from the workshop. Rather than boiling water and delivering vapor to a pressing surface, the unit applies controlled heat and mechanical pressure directly, so the iron, the pressing table and the steam boiler are replaced by a single unit on the factory floor.

The XST-258-8V is built for factories producing tailored garments: suits, uniforms, evening wear, trench coats, leather garments and professional attire. It applies to interlining bonding on curved and straight seams, the operation behind detailed garment shaping and overall fit durability.
Fabric coverage follows the temperature band. Cotton, linen, silk, chemical fibers and high-elastic fabrics all sit inside the working range, with the temperature set according to the fabric type being run.
Two checks are worth making before ordering. First, confirm that the interlining strip widths used in production fall inside the 6-20 mm pressing width. Second, confirm that the line can supply the stated working pressure and an AC 220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz supply.
The unit is rated at 300 W. The manufacturer lists consumption at roughly one tenth of a conventional steam-fed pressing setup, and because no steam is generated, the boiler and the pressing table leave the energy and maintenance footprint of the line.
Automatic feeding and a constant temperature remove the piece-to-piece variation that comes with hand ironing. Control of the process shifts from the operator's hand to a setpoint on the control panel.
Inconsistent interlining adhesion, yellowing and mildew in stored garments trace back to moisture entering the fabric. Working dry keeps that moisture out of the process.
A continuous stroke and automatic cutting remove the stop-start rhythm of manual pressing, and a simplified operating interface shortens the time before a new operator reaches production speed.
Cotton, linen, silk, chemical fibers and high-elastic fabrics. The pressing temperature is adjustable between 150 °C and 350 °C and is set according to the fabric type being run.
A high-precision temperature sensor responds at millisecond level and adjusts dynamically, so the pressing head holds the temperature band selected for the fabric rather than drifting with workload.
The machine runs on AC 220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz and works at ±0.6 MPa. Motor output is 100 W + 100 W at 98 r/min, and no steam boiler is part of the installation.
Left and right curved seams are supported along with straight runs, with corner sections pressed flat and free of marks. Pressing width is 6-20 mm, the stroke is continuous, and interlining is fed from both sides at once.
The pressing head heats up in 8 seconds. Operation runs from a simplified control panel, and the manufacturer states that no specialist training program is required before an operator can run the machine.
